UPDATE: Long Tail Debate

Nicholas Carr, author and blogger at Rough Type has Wall Street Journal’s Lee Gomes’ response to Chris Anderson’s post in response to the original Gomes WSJ article here. All agree the Internet is changing behaviors and purchasing patterns, the debate is moving more towards the severity of the shift – 98/2 or 70/30. I think moving from Pareto’s 80/20 to 70/30 is a big jump and might just be the first step on the path to 98/2. Time will tell.
